Summer
Teacher Externship

Each Summer, ConnectNewton host between 24 and 28 teachers for a 1 week externship with a local industry.  This empowers our teachers to better understand the soft and technical skills needed for their students to succeed and to develop powerful relationships with an industry partner for their classroom and school.   At the same time, industry participants report employee satisfaction for the shadowed employees, a greater awareness of their brand in the community, and improved communication with employers who are shaping their future workforce.
